License check for Advanced eDiscovery
Starting April 16, 2021, all customers using Advanced eDiscovery must have the appropriate licensing in order to continue creating new cases in the solution.
You have to maintain an Advanced Compliance or E5 license.
Key points:
- Timing: We will begin rolling this April 16, 2021
- Action: review and ensure you have the appropriate licensing
How this will affect your organization:
Starting April 16th, Microsoft asks that all customers ensure that they have the appropriate licensing to continue using Advanced eDiscovery. Without a single Advanced Compliance or E5 seat, administrators and users will no longer be able to create cases; however, they will be able to continue to have access to existing cases created prior to April 16th.
